Due to our passion for accurately displaying the amazing foods Pike Place Market has to offer, we cannot always accommodate dietary restrictions. We certainly do our best and many places have options, but a few favorites of ours simply do not. Please reach out to us if you have any questions to see if you like what we have to offer.

Substitutions must be requested in advance with your ticket purchase. All tastings have been prepared in advance at each location, based on the information you provided to us at the time of ticket purchase. Last-minute dietary changes on tour will not be accommodated. This is a carefully choreographed food ballet!

We work with the best food purveyors. Keeping things streamlined ensures that guests have a consistently high-quality experience. Some partners see us up to twelve times a day, so we want to minimize mistakes.

There isn’t always a “next best” option that meets the special dietary needs of each of our guests. Since we have your health (and palate!) in mind, we truly appreciate your understanding on this issue.

Yes! If we know in advance, we will do our best to make appropriate substitutions for you on all of the tours.

Yes, advance ticket purchase is required. Events typically sell out quickly. To maximize your chances of getting the date, time, and number of tickets you prefer, please book well in advance.

Customers will receive a full refund or credit with 48 hours notice of cancellation. All tours have a 4 guest minimum with a reschedule or full refund option. Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price.

We do not provide a waiting list. If a date and time is sold out, there is always a chance that we will add an additional tour on that day. Please contact us to let them know what date you are interested in.

• All food and drink tastings (enough for a meal)
• A special “VIP” discount card that is only available to tour participants. Return to our partner businesses and receive a special discount off your entire purchase or meal (usually 10-15% off or even a special tasting menu just for Savor Seattle guests). In some cases, this card alone is reason to sign up for the tour!
• All gratuities to the service staff at each of the tasting locations we visit on the tours

Tour Guide gratuity is not included in the ticket price, but is always greatly appreciated.

Savor Seattle does not include gratuities in the cost of the tours. A standard gratuity for a tour guide is 15% to 20% of the tour price. If you had a great time, gratuities are accepted by our tour guides.

If you are bringing a child that is 2 years of age or younger, and he/she will not be eating during the tour, you do not need to purchase a ticket for him/her. If your child is 3 years of age or older, you will need to purchase a ticket for him/her, regardless if he/she will be participating in the tastings.

Children are welcome on most of the tours, but please bear in mind that some children have a limited attention span and therefore a 2-3 hour tour or event may not be appropriate for them. Parents know their children best and should assess the situation individually. Since there is a lot of standing, walking, and Market congestion, please consider this when deciding whether the tours and events are appropriate for your child.

If your child is 2 years of age or younger and will not be eating, you will not need to purchase a ticket for him/her. If your child is 3 years of age or older, you will need to purchase a ticket for him/her, regardless if he/she will be eating.

Unfortunately, strollers are not permitted and wheelchairs are not recommended, due to the crowds and tight spaces in the Market and the food establishments we visit. The Pike Place Market is also a historical district, which means that there are areas that are not ADA compliant. As well, the tours utilize narrow sidewalks, cross uneven cobblestone streets, and traverse certain staircases. Some of the artisans and businesses we visit are very small, crowded, and are not wheelchair or stroller accessible in a tour group of up to 12 guests.

Due to the various food establishments we visit, pets of any kind are not allowed.

The walking tours require a certain level of physical stamina. Please plan that you will be standing for the majority of the tour (2-2.5 hours) and possibly spending time in direct sunlight. We recommend comfortable footwear and a bottle of water. Water will also be for sale at the meeting location.

On the Original Food and Culture Tour of Pike Place Market and Sunrise Stroll Tasting Tour of Pike Place Market, there are a few hills and stairs. Tastings are on the go and seating opportunities are limited and sporadic.

Definitely! Many of our attendees live right here in Seattle. Locals often join us to learn about the great food finds in the “Heart and Soul of Seattle” that have been under their noses the entire time! Seattle is brimming with lively tales and history that you will be surprised by.

The events all end within a few blocks of the starting point. Your guide will be happy to assist with directions at the end of the event.
